The
upper photo is of B-17F’s on their way to the target. This is a very old 1/48th
scale B-17F which I bought and built when the kit was first released. I used a
Monogram kit for the nose cheek guns and the interior. When it was built there
were no PE or resin sets to rectify any short comings. It all had to be
converted or scratch built. The background photo was taken during a flight to
Europe, and the B-17’s are the same model. I didn’t think to rotate the
props to different angles, so they are all the same.
The
photo above is the same B-17. I changed the unit markings, and added all
of the damage on PhotoShop. The water below is a local lake.
