Hello Guys, I'm not
building that much 1/48 (I think I'm almost alone ;-) ) but there is one
exception, and that are World War II era planes. A few months ago I
started this
Spitfire which is a typical Tamiya kit, the fit was excellent and details
are fine.
I built this
one straight out of the box, painted it with Model Master paints, and finished
it with decals from the Dutch Profile sheet no. 4

This particular
plane was financed with gifts gathered from the Netherlands East Indies, and
was named after the Isle of West Borneo. It served with 307th Fighter Squadron,
31st Fighter Group USAF, based at Merston Air Force Base in the United Kingdom
in 1942.
