1/48 Tamiya Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb

Hello Guys, I'm not building that much 1/48 (I think I'm almost alone ;-) ) but there is one exception, and that are World War II era planes.  A few months ago I started this Spitfire which is a typical Tamiya kit, the fit was excellent and details are fine.

I built this one straight out of the box, painted it with Model Master paints, and finished it with decals from the Dutch Profile sheet no. 4

This particular plane was financed with gifts gathered from the Netherlands East Indies, and was named after the Isle of West Borneo.  It served with 307th Fighter Squadron, 31st Fighter Group USAF, based at Merston Air Force Base in the United Kingdom in 1942.

I hope you like this one, and feel free to leave any comment.

Cheers
