This is my Dragon Heinkel 162-A2 in 1/48
scale built mostly OOB with some details added on the
engine and painted with Humbrol red brown lightly reduced with white to
represent red brown primer applied on several German planes at that
time. I used French Green Humbrol no HF-2 for the engine cover and Tamiya
acrylic paint XF-23 Light Blue for the underside.
The model represents a Heinkel 162-A2 of
3/JG1 based at Leck near the Denmark frontier in April of 1945. White 23
was flown by Oberst Herbert Ihlefeld staffelkapitan of 3/JG1
