This kit is one of my first achievements when I decided to start model making again.  The markings are the well-known P-47D "Eileen" of the 84th Fighter Squadron, 78th Fighter Group in England during 1944. The assembly did not present any difficulties. The painting consisted of "English" medium green on upper surfaces and Neutral grey on lower surfaces.

For this model, I had the insane idea of painting the checkerboard pattern by hand on the engine cowling. In the future, I will avoid having this kind of idea!!!
