This is
a T-37 replica, converted from the 1/48 Monogram A-37 Dragonfly kit, this
airplane served in FAP as an advanced trainer role, allowing the FAP officers to
get a lead in training, since it was the first jet trainer in South America.

I had
to modify the kit's dihedral, the main landing gears were enlarged and the wing
tip tanks were removed and the tips recontoured.
I also reshaped the
entire nose to get a slightly thinner one, added a little air intake in canopy
front. The wheels were my own resin casting and the instrument layout had to be
redesigned.

Air intake oval
splits were added as seen on real jet, I also practiced some surgery while
downing the flaps, some aluminium sheets were required for this process, the
Ejection seats and belts were scratchbuilt in aluminium.
Greetings from Peru.
