I built this submarine straight out of the box. It is a really great detailled kit with the length of about 93 centimeter.  I built the U295 version of this kit, there was no special reason.  I used the standard Revell colours indicated in the instr. sheet.  I found it a nice look to give it a rusty colour (Revell 83) over the attachment points of the boat and some other points at for instance the anchor.

On the table it shows the superb length of this kit.

The top of the boat contained the most of the work for this kit. This for al the tiny parts the kit contains. I finished the kit in about 2 weeks with a lot of work almost every day of these 2 weeks.

I hope you like what you see, I for sure am proud of this model.  It is not perfect but it is one of my best works so far.
