1/48 Airfix Harrier GR3 converted into a Harrier T4N
This is not a Sea Harrier!!!! The
Fleet Air Arm's 899 RNASqn use these birds as a part of their training, they are
not "navalised" though.
The model is built around The Airfix GR3. The nose has been extended using
plastic rod - to get the correct extended length, plastic card for the side
walls and Milliput for the shape. The canopy's have been Crash moulded
over plastic card/milliput formers. The tail unit has also been extended
with the longer boom.
