1/48 FREMS MB 339 PAN

This is the FREMS 1/48 MB 339 PAN in the colors of Flecce Tri Colori. Basically built out of the box, the kit has nice fit but the plastic is a little soft and sands off very easily. 

Unfortunately the kit is a very heavy tail sitter, and I realized the gravity of this problem when I sealed the fuselage! Darn!

Nevertheless I stole the display stand from my AA Models A5C Fantan, which is nicely molded in clear plastic and mounted the MB 339. Problem solved.

Actually it looks better somewhat with the stand. The full decal can be displayed on the underside with the landing gears down.

Decal sheet is very thin and with a little decal solution, it sticks very well. It’s always a challenge when you need to apply an acrobatic decal- it stretches from nose to the tail on multiple surfaces.   

Overall the kit quality is very high and it’s highly recommended.
