XV738. RAF No IV Sqn. Gutersloh Germany 1990
Kit is Esci's excellent GR3. Minor modifications/additions include - flaps lowered, seat from Airwaves (my supply of Chota Sahib seats all used up!). Decals used were from
modeldecal.

No IV sqn., was the last GR3 front-line squadron. It converted to the GR7 in late 1990 (missing out on the GR5). The fin is adorned in IV Sqn's Red,yellow and black - to celebrate that units 75th anniversary.
XV738, would have been from the first production batch of GR1's built in the late 60's, here she is - over 20 years later after conversion to GR1a and then GR3.
