1/48 Tamiya Fw 190 D-9

This is my Dora.  I started with the Tamiya kit and upgraded it with an Aires detail set.  I chose to not use the Aires cockpit, I found it is better to use the original cockpit and upgrade it with Eduard Photo Etch.

I also used the CMK detail set (open tail, tail wheel, weighted wheels-better than True details), Eduard PE set (flaps), Part PE set (only accessory door), Aires radio.

I scratchbuilt the following parts: fuselage fuel tanks and the interior of rear part of the fuselage.  For decals I used some from Aeromaster and  Trimaster.

I hope you all have enjoyed the pictures of my Dora.
